Strength is one of the easiest things to change in the body…And one of the hardest things to motivate yourself to work on.
Seriously: Pick up something heavy, over and over, until it’s not heavy anymore. Then pick up something heavier.
Okay, I’m oversimplifying — muscle growth involves all kinds of factors. But that’s not really the point of this post. I’m here to talk about how to gamify strength — and how to use that framing to get it done.
In the Roll for Change system, Strength isn’t just force — it’s follow-through. And willpower.

The Core Traits of Strength:
Force – your physical output
Willpower – your mental tenacity
Follow-through – your ability to complete what you start
Once you get a sense of your strength level, you can make a plan to improve it — whether that’s physical, mental, or both.
Sure, you could test it at the gym. But you can also ask:
Does your job wear you down so much you can’t enjoy your time at home?
Do you feel too drained to clean your space, play with your kids, or pursue a hobby?
If so, that’s a quest.
Either get stronger or rebuild your situation.Maybe both.
The only way to grow strength — real strength — is to keep applying it.Once you plateau, you’ll need to switch up your inputs. The good news? If you’re reading this, you’re already thinking like an adventurer.
